Tell us a little about yourself!
Florida native, married with two daughters. I love spending time outdoors whenever I can.

What initially sparked your interest in healthcare/health information?
Healthcare has always been part of my life through family. In high school, I took a job as a medical record file clerk through those connections, and that experience ultimately shaped my decision to pursue a degree in the field.

What areas of the mid-revenue cycle are you most passionate about?
Coding, auditing, denials.

Was there a moment when you knew this career path was the right fit for you?
Not specifically, just enjoyed exploring all areas of HIM, then it was Medical Records. Loved the coding and denials pathway.

Can you share a proud moment in your career (or life!)?
Life – Both daughters are Oncology Nurses
Career – When short term interim assignments turn into three plus year positions

What do you enjoy most about working at OnPoint?
Great people who want to do what is right for their clients, employees and our industry

Who or what inspires you most?
My daughters.

What does your ideal day off look like?
Doing anything outside, relaxing with friends, family.

Any hobbies or passions you’re currently enjoying?
Hobbies – fishing and hiking/walking

Favorite vacation spot.
Anywhere with mountains, lakes or beaches.
